Ekisoba and Sobamae: Traditional Flavor in a New Form."

On Monday, June 6, 2022, a new restaurant "おぎのや Shokudo" will open under the JR Kanda Station elevated railway tracks with the theme of "Ekisoba and Sobamae: Traditional Taste in a New Form. おぎのや's homemade noodles, a la carte dishes using ingredients from Gunma and Nagano prefectures, and local sake can be enjoyed.

Thoughts behind "GEN"

The name "GEN" comes from the elevated, brick arched (bowed) lower portion.
The 弦"gen" also has the meaning of "vine," which also implies that the new OGINOYA's initiative will extend in multiple directions.

The theme of this project is to connect Gunma/Nagano and Tokyo, as there are fewer opportunities to visit the Gunma/Nagano region due to the COVID-19.
